Greetings! Salutations! and Welcome!

Welcome to my page, 'Doodle-Storming'!

Here on this page I will be posting all my updates for a module on my course at University.

First, a quick introduction. My name is Peter Colin Danskin, aged 22 years old, 6 feet and 4 inches, and I am a Computer Arts student here at the University of Abertay, in Dundee, Scotland. I have lived here in Dundee almost my whole life, and despite its shortfalls, it is my home. I like to live my life by a selection of Philosophies and Quotes, though these change often. I can look back every couple of years and see a completely different me. I like to live with a smile upon my face. There's never an excuse to not.

My work over the years has been largely influenced by my family and friends, and though my early teenage years were mostly spent in a sort of lonely state, i still had my family to back me up. Always supporting the artwork and doodles i produced. I'm well aware, and always have been, that I've never been the best at drawing, and i never will be, but I've always tried to express my ideas.
To me, though everyone has played their part, my Uncle Chris has been a man I've always looked up to, and always been inspired by. He, and my Aunt, are the artsy couple in the extended family, and have constantly given me support, be it giving friendly crit, overlooking my portfolio, and even getting me a short work placement at the animation studio, 'Once Were Farmers', here i learned a good deal of the industry before heading off to University.

ANYWAY. Enough about my rambling with this "quick introduction".

On this page, you will find the workings of one of my current major projects, 'Doodle-Storming', for the Creative Research module in my University. Here every few days, i will post my daily doodles i do from here on out until the end of my 3rd year at Abertay, in June. The doodles will be inspired by anything and everything that i see, hear, or even smell. I have seen things like this done before, but i shall be looking into this deeply, trying to dig up how effective it is with processing viable ideas and honing skills.
I'm not sure as to what i'll have in the end of this project, but we'll find out on the way soon enough.
